We have had to make a few changes and taken the decision to slightly shorten this year’s panto to approximately 90 minutes with no interval – just the right length for a festive family treat, but without the break in between, which can make social distance planning a little tricky.

Seated in socially distanced bubbles that place empty seats in front, behind and to the sides of each family who book, meaning the auditorium will only be able to seat around one third of the normal capacity.

Our regular audiences won’t notice much of a change, this year’s glittering production will feature all of our usual festive pantomime ingredients: A fabulous cast and live band, featuring some familiar faces! Laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty for all the family to enjoy.

For more information about Relaxed Performances please click here. Minor sensory adjustments to the production will be made in order for us to cater to an audience who might not feel they can usually come to enjoy a performance at The McMillan Theatre or the magic of pantomime.

The performance is essentially the same show with some small adjustments for your comfort:

-- Sound levels are reduced

-- Lighting levels inside the auditorium are increased

-- No strobe lighting or pyrotechnics are used and some special effects are changed

-- Auditorium doors are left open so you're free to come and go

-- You can move around during the performance if needed

-- A chill out zone in the foyer to relax
