Somerstage Musical Theatre School Presents

Somerstage will restart on Saturday 5 December 2020 - all participants have been contacted by Somerstage with further information about booking for members.

It's time to Sing, Dance and Act again. Somerstage is delighted to reopen it's doors! Bring the West End to the Westcountry with our Musical Theatre professionals Lisa, Dean and Tim.

Somerstage Group 1 - 11 - 1.30pm

Somerstage group 2 - 11.15 - 1.45pm

Cost: £18 per week

Somerstage is committed to keeping children, parents and staff safe during these strange times. Therefore there will be a few extra rules so we can maintain distancing and a safe environment:

All classes will take place within the usual Somerstage times, however there will be allocated start times for groups of 15 to maintain social distancing. These will be assigned according to ages and emailed after booking.

Places must be booked online and paid for in advance of the sessions as the box office will not be available (We will need exact numbers prior to starting and unfortunately cannot accommodate walk ins). We will then email you a start time for your childs group. Numbers are limited. Sessions will be slightly shorter to allow for a shorter break for a snack. Teaching time will not be affected.

Seperate entrances will be used for the different groups. Parents will be asked to not enter the building on arrival and Somerstage staff will come and take children to the session. A chair will be allocated to each child around the edge of the room for them use for breaks and storage of items.

Children will be asked to wear masks on arrival and up to the session. They can remove once in the allocated room. Temperatures will be taken on entry and hands sanitized. If your child or anyone in your family has symptoms of the virus please avoid coming to the sessions until fully recovered.

We would ask children to adhere to social distancing and any floor signs that are within the building. We will be making sure that distancing is maintained when singing, dancing and acting. Toilets will be allocated to each group and cleaned thoroughly between sessions. We will be asking children to sanitize regularly and after toilet use.

Attendance and liability is the responsibility of the parent who acknowledges the Covid risks. We will endeavour to provide the safest environment possible.

Fees must be paid by Wednesday 9th September to allow us to plan groups. We won't be able to accept late payments. If you have any problems with making this payment deadline please contact us directly.

All efforts will be made to stay in line with government guidance and the risk assessments provided by The McMillan Theatre.
