Bridgwater & Taunton College is committed to the data security and the fair and transparent processing of personal data. This privacy notice for students sets out how we will treat your personal data which you provide us in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Email and post marketing: from time to time, we may contact you by email or post with information about events and services we believe you may be interested in. We will only send marketing messages to you in accordance with the marketing preferences you set. You can then let us know at any time that you do not wish to receive marketing messages by unsubscribing from the link in the email. You also can log into your theatre account and change the preferences or contact the theatre directly.

 

How we store and how long we keep your personal information

The duration for which we retain your personal information will differ depending on the type of information and the reason why we collected it from you. However, in some cases personal information may be retained on a long-term basis: for example, personal information that we need to retain for legal purposes will normally be retained in accordance with usual commercial practice and regulatory requirements. 

 

Personal data is stored Spekrix a ticketing software system. Enrolment forms are locked in a filing cabinet and kept until the end of the enrolment period and then shredded.

The theatre does not share your personal information with any external companies.

We want to make our online services as easy, useful and reliable as we can. Therefore like most other websites we use ‘cookies’ to collect anonymous statistics about how people use our website.
